Orange willing to sue county to stop jail proposal
ORANGE - City officials are willing to go to court to stop a county plan to allow 292 state inmates to be paroled out of Theo Lacy Facility in Orange as part of the county's bid for $100 million in state funds to expand the James A. Musick Facility.
At a news conference Tuesday morning across the street from Theo Lacy, Councilmen Jon Dumitru and Denis Bilodeau said they would support litigation if the county did not heed a council resolution against the plan.
